DISTRIBUTION START & END DATES
Distribution is on Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm. If you ever are unable to make this time, please see directions below for Missed Pick-ups.
Full Season | 5/15-12/11 | Weekly or Biweekly
Spring Session | 5/15-7/17 | Weekly or Biweekly
Summer Session | 7/24-9/25 | Weekly or Biweekly
Fall Session | 10/2-12/11 | Weekly or Biweekly
We will not have a distribution on Thanksgiving Day 11/27. Instead, we will make up distribution for that week on 12/4.
DISTRIBUTION DETAILS
Bloomington Farm Stop Pick Up at 902 West Kirkwood Avenue
For those picking up at the Bloomington Farm Stop Collective, our team will be set up every Thursday from 4:30-6:30 pm in the store parking lot on the west side of the building. Look for our green pop-up tents. This pick up location is run using a buffet format. Members can bring their own bags to pack share items into or we will have paper and plastic bags available. We will have the produce laid out in tubs on tables in our tent with signs indicating how many of each item you can take. Members will then be able to pick out which bunch of beets or which tomato, etc. you want to take home. We will also have a “TRADE” bin at the end of the line, where members can leave items they don’t want and take extras of things they do. This approach will provide maximum selection within our farm share model.
Mavourneen Farm Pick Up at 8652 South Rockport Road
Our on farm pick up location is self-serve, with no staff on site, starting every Thursday at 4:30 pm and running through the next 7 days at your convenience. Shares will be pre-packed in bins and members can bring their own bags to transfer items into or we will have paper and plastic bags available. We will also have a “TRADE” bin, where members can leave items they don’t want and take extras of things they do.
Missed Pick Ups
If you ever miss the Thursday evening pick up time, don’t worry! There are several options to still get your food.
Farm Walk-in Cooler. Default will be that we pack your share and leave it in our walk-in cooler at the farm for you to pick up at your convenience, anytime within 7 days. The farm address where our cooler is located is 8652 South Rockport Road. When you pull in the drive, follow the signs that say "CSA Pick Up". There will be bags available if you need to transfer items for taking home. After you get your food, just follow the circle drive past our house to get back to the main road.
Bloomington Farm Stop. Folks who pick up in town can request in advance to have their share packed for pick up from the Bloomington Farm Stop at their convenience, anytime within 7 days. This option is limited to twice per session (6 times per year for full season members). Members will need to go to the Farm Stop between the hours of 8:30-6:30 pm and ask a clerk at the register to get their share for them.
EMAIL REMINDERS & NEWSLETTER
Email will be our primary mode of communication but please note that our farm team is not always at the computer and it may take us a few days to respond to you. This is still the best way to contact us: mavourneenfarm@gmail.com.
Starting the first week of distribution, you should begin receiving automated distribution reminders from Grownby. If you are ever unsure about whether it is your week for pick-up, be sure to check your email or log-in to your Grownby account.
You will also start receiving a weekly MailChimp newsletter from us that includes our anticipated harvest list, storage tips, recipes, farm notes, and important CSA announcements. In order to make sure everyone receives important news and updates, all share members will receive this note every week, regardless of whether you pick up weekly or biweekly.
VACATION & LOCATION CHANGES
If you ever want to switch your pick up location for a week or pause pick up while you are away on vacation, you can do this through your Grownby online account. Note that all changes must be entered by Wednesday at 11:59 pm the week of distribution but will then be automatically adjusted in our harvest & distribution schedules.
To sign-in to Grownby:
Visit https://grownby.app/ and click “sign in” from the drop down menu in the right hand corner of the screen. After entering your log-in details, you should land at the “Your Schedule” page.
To change your pick up location:
To change your pick up location for the week, click the “Reschedule” button and then pick the location you want to switch to. Use this option if you know you won’t be able to make it to pick up at the Farm Stop on Thursday evening and need to come out to the farm to pick up another day/time that week, or if you would prefer to pick up in town for a certain week.
To claim a vacation week:
For vacation changes, after signing into your account, click the “Claim Vacation” button and then press “Submit”.
This will automatically create a $42.50 “Farm Credit” for each vacation week you submit.
Note that there are a limited number of vacation days allowed for each session.
Full Season Weekly Shares: 6 days
Full Season Biweekly Shares: 3 days
Spring, Summer or Fall Weekly Shares: 2 day
Spring, Summer, or Fall Biweekly Shares: 1 day
For vacation changes, there are four options to make up your missed share:
Pick up a double share before or after your trip on a regularly scheduled pick up day. Follow the directions below for rescheduling a pick up to do this. We can usually include a different assortment of vegetables so you aren’t overwhelmed with too much of the same things.
Biweekly share members can also pick up a share on a day outside their regular schedule. Follow the directions below for rescheduling a pick up to do this.
Members can also select to receive a store credit towards your next CSA purchase from us in 2026.
Gift a weekly share to a friend. Send us an email explaining who will be picking up your share while you are out of town. For this option you do NOT need to enter vacation day in Grownby.
To reschedule a pick up you missed while on vacation:
After signing-in to your Grownby account, click the “Grownby” logo in the left hand corner
Next find “Mavourneen Farm” through the search bar or under “Your Favorite Farms”
Click on “Shop Now” in the Mavourneen Farm storefront.
Select “Vacation Replacement Share” then “Add to cart”.
Select your pick up location then “Next choose schedule” then select the date or dates you want and click “Add to cart”.
Click “Checkout” from the right hand corner then “Checkout Now” from the center of the screen.
Your existing “Farm Credit” should be auto-applied.
Finish by clicking “Place Order”.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
Connecting with the farm and each other is an important part of our community supported agriculture program! As such, we are hosting at least 2 optional on farm events for members this year.
Farm Tour and Potluck date TBD
We will walk the farm fields together, share more about the growing season and answer questions. A potluck meal will follow. Please bring a favorite dish to share. Friends and family welcome! Come the whole time or just for a little bit. Dress for the weather and being outside.
Garlic Planting Day, date in early November TBD
Come out to help us plant the 2026 garlic crop and deep mulch with straw. Dress for working comfortably outside, bring sunscreen, hat, gloves, coat, water, etc. We will provide snacks.
